Adient is a global leader in automotive seating. With 75,000 employees in 230 production and assembly factories in 33 countries around the world, it supplies automotive seats and components for more than 25 million cars every year. Adient has over 4,000 employees and eight facilities in Slovakia. It is one of the key manufacturers in the Slovak car manufacturing industry.
Solution:
Uniview helped to upgrade the video surveillance system in Adient which is in Lučenec city, Slovakia. The factory had used analog system for a long time. However, it cannot satisfy the need of higher image quality. Therefore Adient decided to change to UNV HD video surveillance system.
UNV 4 MP fisheye camera and 2 MP bullet and dome camera are installed in the production area to monitor the production process. Several NVRs are deployed in the factory for managing and recording. In addition, Adient’s warehouses also use Uniview system for security purpose.
UNV encoders are used in order to seamlessly connect with remaining analog cameras. In the following plan, the new UNV video surveillance system would cover the outside of company for safety issues.
Highlights:
UNV dome cameras used in this project are featured with 3-axis structure, SD card slot with maximum 128 GB edge storage, 2 audio inputs, and vandal-resistant with IK10 compliance. It is designed to suit enterprise and factory applications.
The cameras are powered by a UNV PoE switches which support up to 250 m distance. This function benefits users greatly since it reduces many wiring works and saved total cost.
