Inspection Regulation of Display Products (Overseas Market)

This document describes the inspection regulations of display products.

1. Scope of display product problems

The following are deemed as product problems: the display panel has cracks, scratches, damaged edges, and display problems including liquid-crystal leakage, backlight bleeding, pressure marks, and blurry screen.

2. Inspection regulations of display products

1. Delivery method: FOB destination (Uniview liable for delivery to destination dock)

Bill receipt: warehouse receipt represents the products’ ownership change.

Inspection requirements: the client (or client’s freight forwarder) shall check product appearance and connect power to examine screen display, and report problems in 5 natural days after signing for the products. Uniview claims responsibility for problems reported in this time limit. Beyond the time limit, product problems shall be addressed according to RMA terms.

2. Delivery method: the client (or client’s freight forwarder) pick up the products

Bill receipt: detailed goods receipt represents the products’ ownership change.

Inspection requirements: the client (or client’s freight forwarder) shall check product appearance and connect power to examine screen display before signing for the products. Uniview claims responsibility for problems reported before the products are signed for. Product problems shall be addressed according to RMA terms after the products are signed for.

3. Delivery method: Uniview responsible for door-to-door delivery

Bill receipt: the POD represents the products’ ownership change.

Inspection requirements: the client (or client’s freight forwarder) shall check product appearance and connect power to examine screen display, and report problems in 7 natural days after signing for the products. Uniview claims responsibility for problems reported in this time limit. Beyond the time limit, product problems shall be addressed according to RMA terms.

3. Required information for product problem reporting

When reporting product problems, please provide description, photos of problem, number of problems, and photos of screen bar code, carton, shock indicator, and contract number.

4. Method to examine screen display

When a normal blue screen appears after startup, you need to test screen display by displaying black, white, green, and red screens to examine if display problems exist. A slight backlight bleeding can be detected on an all-black screen, and a slight liquid-crystal leakage can be detected on an all-white screen. Pay attention to the four corners of the screen during the testing.
