Background:

Sao Paulo is the largest city and industrial center in Brazil, attracting more and more people for vacation and even settlement. O Residencial Burle Marx is a luxury and privileged residential area in Santana de Parnaíba which is with 260,000㎡ building areas, including residential, commercial and leisure area. It is one of the optional destinations for Brazilians and foreign tourists.

Challenge:

70% of its total area, which is more than 1,300,000㎡, is composed of native forests, circulating throughout the residential area. It is possible that the area is a hiding place for illegal invaders, especially at night. What’s more, o Residencial Burle Marx consists of several strip areas, rather than a regular circle or square, and the length of its boundary is very long. Security guards are too tired to secure the whole perimeter.

Project highlights:

In this case, cameras working under low Illumination is quite necessary. In order to overcome the security challenges, Uniview’s cameras are deployed to provide a 24-hour controlled portal system for Alphaville Burle Marx.

More than 120 IPC2122LR3-PF40-C have been deployed to monitor the internal areas, walls and grades of the 6-meter-long perimeter. Several PTZ Domes IPC6222ER-X30P-B have been deployed upon lamp posts at important intersections to monitor as far as possible.

The voltage in Brazil sometimes is unstable, but both IPC2122LR3-PF40-C and IPC6222ER-X30P-B support Wide voltage range of ±25%, which enable 24/7 hours uninterrupted work and images regardless of the voltage;

• Ultra 265

Both Uniview cameras are with video compression technology H.265 together with self-developed compression technology which is called U-code to reduce up to 95 % bandwidth. It saves money spent on storage;

• 30x optical zoom & Auto tracking:

IPC6222ER-X30P-B, with 30x optical zoom lens and Panoramic PT field of view, can monitor and detect every details inside or outside the residential area within 2km. PTZ dome can also track the target automatically when it detects objects.

• Low light functions

IPC2122LR3-PF40-C supports colored image in 0.01 Lux environment while IPC6222ER-X30P-B, with super Starlight function, enable color details in minimum Illumination of 0.001Lux. What’s more, they greatly reduce smearing and ensure both static and moving object be seen clearly. In this case, in whether dark roads or forest outside the perimeter, Uniview cameras are capturing and monitoring as guardians.
