Hypermarket “Epicenter K”, Ukraine

Background

Ukraine hypermarket “Epicenter K” recently uses new surveillance systems provided by Zhejiang Uniview Technologies Co., Ltd.  It is part of project consisting five systems located in three cities (Brovary, Sumy, Kyiv), one village (Kalinovka), and one airport (Kyiv International). Epicenter K is a major construction hypermarket around these areas.

Solution

The video surveillance solution contains more than 1000 UNV IP cameras. 167000㎡ property is protected by these bullet, fixed dome, PTZ dome, and mini fixed dome. Lowlight, smart IR, day/night surveillance scenarios are covered in this solution. Regarding to the storage, it deployed high efficient NVR to realize video storage, decode, and transfer.

Features

Smart IR---Compared to normal IR, it is easier to get better image with smart IR. It avoids overexposure for important objects and details under IR, which is perfectly suitable for night.

WDR---The UNV bullet adopted in the project is capable of WDR ranges up to 120dB, clear image with rich details can still be acquired in high light contrast situation.

Corridor mode---In this hypermarket scenario, every corner should put under surveillance in order to protect the property and people inside. 9:16 corridor mode could help to double the useful monitoring area in strip areas.
